SHARKSLAYER

I'm digging this new track I found in a Major Lazer Dj set from Electric Picnic 2009. its got some weird samples which I'm liking the sound of. I'm unsure of what the original sounds like but I know this version sounds bumping. It's got some good energy. To describe the genre I'd say electro/house/club

2 Many DJs Live at Coachella 2010!

By far my Favorite. Steve & Dave never fail to bring to house down with every live set they mix. Their sets are always full of surprises and big bangs which leave everyone going nuts & tearing each others hair and eyes out!!!! I seen these dudes at Killer NYE @ the Theater Palace in Melbourne and it's easy to say I've never ever seen a live show which matched it or will ever match it (Besides seeing Soulwax hopefully one day). This Coachella Set is actually very similar to the set I jumped around to on NYE. I'm yet to find a 2 many Djs set on the net, where they Drop 'A Millie' by Lil Wayne & 'Out of Space' By The Prodigy like what i heard of new years eve but with time it will be up on this Blog. It was chaos and if these guys come to Australia again i will bet any money that I will buying tickets to go see them again!!!

Please do yourself a Favor and Download their Set from Coachella!!!!!!!!!!!!!

BORIS

I'm liking this dudes stuff at the moment. Boris Dlugosch is coming up with some sick tracks which I can already hear at parties. His sound is catchy and I think he'll be like the next Laidback Luke :)i love these tracks! I've had them on repeat all week!

Bangduk - Boris Dlugosch

This Boys Noize remix has a deep let down i like it. its much better then the original 'sweet light' from Boys Noize.

A-TRAK

A-Trak what a pro! beat juggling Robot Rock - Daft Punk. This dude is one of the best MC's going around.

He done this exact same thing at Parklife 2009 in Melbourne and it went off!

Boys Noizeeeeeee/Erol Alkan

Boys Noize & Erol Alkan have just teamed up releasing an epic new track, 'Lemonade'

This track is sick and has a sound which hurts the ears as well as giving you a little bit of a reason to Bop around. Boys Noize dropped this at Future in Perth and i loved it :). Here is a re - edit which i found a tad better then the original. its a little bit more progressive.

click on the volume bars if no sound is coming out when you can see the track has started playing :)

P.S. India has a cool blog 2 in my O.G's :) x

Major Lazer

Wow I just found something pretty funny I thought would be worth posting.

Major Lazer is actually meant to be a fictional cartoon character who Diplo & Switch made up as a marketing scheme. This Character is meant to have fought as a Jamaican commando who lost his arm in a secret zombie war in 1984 fights vampires & other monsters and it’s also believed this character parties hard.

For everyone that doesn’t know Major Lazer. They are the dudes who created that ever so annoying track 'Pon De Floor'. There other stuff is also influenced by 70's Reggae music. I suggest to download this album 'Guns don't Kill people… Lazers do'. It’s very smooth listening. It also features some good names on it such as Santigold, Crookers, Steed Lord & Nina Sky.

These were some of the best tracks from this album:

There is speculation Sebastian is working on a new album which is set to be released at the start of 2010!! which is good news for festival goers who may catch a glimpse of him sometime in 2010!

Here is a link to a video of the end of Busy P's set @ Cinespace 2009

Crystal Castles new shiiii

Toronto duo 'Crystal Castles' sophomore album self titled 'Crystal Castles' has just been leaked out onto the internet upon release early July.

This album features a little less of the Game boy glitch/ear bashing/distorted vocals unlike first album 'Alice Practice'.
Producer Ethan Kath has gone a little less Synthy and a little more mainstream on such tracks as 'Vietnam' & 'suffocation'. Overall I still enjoyed the album and such tracks as 'Year of silence' & 'Empathy' have begun to grow on me as it sounds much like there first album.
